Frequently Asked Questions

There are two types of Free Trials. Commitment shy people can try Declare-It Free for 10 day without using a credit card but will experience an interruption of service between the end of the trial and the time their payment is being processed. Those that are more serious can try Declare-It without any interuption of service Free for 10 days by entering a credit card. If you deactivate your account before your 10th day you won’t be charged a thing. You are responsible for the charges you’ve already incurred until your cancellation.

Do I have to sign a long term contract?

No. With Declare-It, you can deactivate your account at any time with no penalty. Declare-It is a $9.99 monthly subscription service.

What types of payments do you accept?

Currently, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We do not accept PayPal.

Do I have to add supporters?

Yes, Declare-it requires you to add at least 3 supporters for each declaration. However, you can use the same supporters for multiple declarations.

How are my supporters notified of my declaration?

Supporters are sent an email notifying them of your declaration. Supporters can activate themselves by simply clicking the “Activate as a Supporter” link within the email. If a supporter does not activate themselves they will NOT receive supporter requests.

Do my supporters have to be a user of Declare-It in order to support my declaration?

No. Supporters do not have to have their own Declare-It account in order to support your goal.

What if my supporter no longer wants to support my declaration?

Supporters can stop receiving progress reports by clicking the “deactivate as supporter” link that is embedded in each progress report they receive. This information is also indicated in the initial “Supporter Request” email that they receive.

Can I make a custom declaration?

Declare-It has predesigned declarations that focus on major areas of achievement. However, we work on new potential declarations daily and are open to hearing your suggestion on what you might like to see. You can email us at mailto:feedback@declare-it.com

Once I’ve created a declaration, can I edit it?

Absolutely. During the midway point of your declaration, you might realize that you need to be challenged a bit more and need to reset the parameters. You can do so under the “Profile” tab within your account.
